Director George Gallo brings us a new action thriller starring Morgan Freeman (The Shawshank Redemption) and Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black). Rose plays Victoria, a mother whose trying to put her dark past as a Russian drug courier behind her, but retired cop Damon (Freeman) forces Victoria to do his bidding by holding her daughter hostage.

“Nomadland” is on a hot streak during this award season. The film has already won Best Director and Best Picture at both, the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards. I spoke with Author Jessica Bruder (“Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century”) and real life nomad, Bob Wells. We discussed the film, memories they enjoy reliving and more.

The film tells the story of a covert team of immortal mercenaries who are suddenly exposed and must now fight to keep their identity a secret just as an unexpected new member is discovered.
